So you've read a bit about going green and you like the idea, but are you living Green? Are you promoting and accelerating your learning? If not, here's some ideas on how.
Currently, I am a member of a few green groups on Meetup.com. This site is a place where people with common interests find each other and start 'meeting' in groups to discuss, promote or enjoy their shared interest. Here are a few to look into:

One of the largest places of waste I see are at businesses. Many green tips can actually save your company money, so be sure to promote green office ideas to your leaders and co-workers (see the Go Paperless page for tips). As a side-note, consider how you get to work. We can drastically cut our use of gasoline by simply living where we work, carpooling, using public transportation, or walking/biking.
Many colleges are starting to offer courses in green living, sustainability and other related topics. Besides classes offered, you may also find student groups promoting the green cause.
Logon to some of the large information based green portal websites and start communicating with people you find on these sites through articles, blogs and by contacting the site administrators. If you can't get involved locally, get involved virtually and do your part locally!
